Home of Steer Fear

The Meadows teach children that courage is not the absence of fear—it is choosing to take the next step despite feeling afraid. Even the calmest path can feel uncertain when we do not know where it may lead.

Steer Fear helps visitors understand that everyone experiences fear. Feeling nervous, worried or unsure is a natural part of life. By recognising fear, talking about it and taking manageable steps forward, we can stop it from deciding what we are able to do.

The Meadows remind every visitor that bravery does not always feel bold or fearless. Sometimes the smallest step forward is the greatest act of courage.
